Robi is the third largest telecommunication service provider in Bangladesh and the country’s largest mobile network operator with over 25 million subscribers. Robi Axiata Limited is a joint venture between Axiata Group Berhad, Malaysia and NTT DOCOMO INC, Japan. The company was established in 1997. Robi has the widest International Roaming Coverage in Bangladesh connecting 600 operators’ across more than 200 countries.
As of the current business process in Robi (e.g. sales of Easy Load, Scratch Cards and SIM) with paper-based inventory handling leads to a huge amount of paper work. Since the Robi’s product distribution was a manual process, the process had various limitations. To eliminate much of the tedious and repetitive work carried out behind the scene, Robi required a system to automate the distribution process from Robi to Retailer. They wish to track goods and sales & generate various reports from the new platform. Also they expected to meet the growing demand of New Mobile Connections, and cater for efficient and increased distribution bandwidth.
Consequently Omobio Pvt Ltd came up with an integrated system and mobile application solution to provide a comprehensive Sales Force Automation system for Robi to monitor and control the entire distribution flow of the company stocks via channels. The system sustains the following features as stated below in order to track the end to end sales, including Retailer Function, New Sales, Verify Retailer, No Sales, Sale Cancellation, Stock Returns, URF/UTF Forms, Market Survey, Inventory, Retailer Details, Get GPS Location and many more.
The Robi’s Sales Force Automation System deployed by Omobio has the capability to deliver valuable and timely information for decision making purposes for strategic, tactical and operational level management as well.
Moreover, with the support of a highly committed team of individuals, Omobio successfully launched the SFA system in 2014, which supports to track all the sales activities, and analyzes the sales forecasts and performance as well, Also Omobio has successfully deployed the SFA mobile solution for android application in 2015 for Robi in Bangladesh. The Robi’s SFA Smart Phone (Android) app facilitates to communicate with relevant parties in real-time to fulfill the requirements effectively.
